LANCASTER BLACK HISTORY GROUP

This workshop led by Imogen Tyler at Judge’s Lodging Museum in June 2022 saw Hannah Cusworth present her exciting PhD research on Mahogany and Slavery from a Black studies perspective. She presented to a packed audience, and her research will help guide the Judge’s Lodging Museum in reframing their Gillow’s Furniture Collection in ways that acknowledge Atlantic and plantation slavery.
